​"Intel Make Tomorrow" Exhibition cum Lifelong Learning Festival 2017 on 28th October 2017

On 28th October, MAE Robotics Club was invited and shortlisted by Intel Corporation to present their self-developed robots and community project - Intelligent Motorised Wheelchair to Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills), at the "Intel Make Tomorrow" Exhibition cum Lifelong Learning Festival 2017.

The exhibited intelligent motorised wheelchair is designed to be equipped with ability to navigate autonomously to avoid obstacles and blind spots, and also trigger alerts to the caregiver while it is fully motorised at the same time to alleviate caregiver's burden.

During the exhibition, MAE Robotics Club also established a long-term collaboration with Intel to further implement the robotics technology such as Robot Operating System (ROS) for various community projects to improve local residents & community's standard of living. MAE Robotics Club wishes to promote robotics in Singapore and aims bring positive impacts to the society through innovations in robotics.
