	MAE High Tea 2012 NTU MAE held its Admission High Tea on the 19 May 2012, Saturday, at the Grand Ballroom of Swissotel Merchant Court, Singapore, from 12.30 pm to 4.00 pm.
	MAE Professor wins the Outstanding Paper Award at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2012 MAE Associate Professor Xie Ming wins the Outstanding Paper Award at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2012 for his paper ‘Implementation of a single motor driven manipulator with multiple joints’.
	Congratulations to MAE Professor for authoring the book ‘Lead Free Solder: Mechanics and Reliability’ ‘Lead Free Solder: Mechanics and Reliability’ is an ideal book for engineers working with semiconductor packaging and in the electronic manufacturing industry.
	*MAE PhD student wins ASTAR SIMTech 2011 Best Student Award** Mr Cheng Kuo Feng Henry, a final year PhD student from the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE), clinched the 2011 Best Student Award at A*STAR’s Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech).
